Our History
Prior to the creation of Sevier County Lawn Care LLC, the company originally started in the summer of 2007 when Charles Thomas purchased a used Cub Cadet mower. He used this mower to maintain several yards inside of his Wears Valley neighborhood after retiring from Kellogg’s.
His son, Jordan Thomas, would help after school in the afternoon as well as throughout the summer months. Year by year the business grew with the commitment of treating the customer the way they would want to be treated.
In 2017, Charle’s oldest son, Christopher, joined the company and helped until 2021. The following year, Charles decided to cut back his workload and just focused on the yards in his neighborhood while Jordan continued the business by himself for the next year with a major focus on grass cutting.
In 2024, Jordan decided to partner with his brother-in-law Jacob Forman to form what is now called, Sevier County Lawn Care. With the addition of Jacob, Sevier County Lawn Care is looking to not only expand the service area but also add services. However, the original foundation of treating customers the way they would want to be treated remains at the heart of the business as we look to add to our history and our team.
